Silicone Rubber and TRI-GRIP
|
In our daily life, Rubber is used in many ways such as rubber band, tire
or wiper blade of automobiles, and sealing rubber for jar lids or bottle
caps. In all cases, rubber is used because of its characteristic elasticity
and non-slippery feature. Our "TRI-GRIP" makes the most of these characteristics.
There are natural rubber and synthetic rubber. Thelatter encompasses wide
variety of different types of rubber made of different ingredients. Plastic
rubber, often called "elastmer" to be distinguished from rubber,
also appeared on themarket recently. One of the biggest differences between
rubber and elastmer is that rubber becomes hard when overly heated, whereas
elastemer becomes soft and finally melts at high temperature. Of all the
rubber and elastemer types, "Silicone Rubber" shows the second highest heatproofness; 230C or 446F in general.
(The heatproof temperature varies according to test conditions. Fluoride
Rubber has the highest temperature, but expensive.) "TRI-GRIP" has adopted this high temperature heatproofness of "Silicone Rubber."
"Silicone Rubber" has another superb feature; it is free from "rubber resin odor."
Thanks to this odor-free and heatproof characteristics, "Silicone Rubber" is widely used in the industry of medical equipments and food processing
machinery. It can be pasteurized at high temperature. Sealing rubber for
jars and thin tube for intravenous drip infusion are the common examples
of this application. This high-grade, safe, and hygienic "Silicone Rubber" is the most suitable material for "TRI-GRIP."
The "TRI-GRIP" is patent granted for its unique 3-D figure made of elastic material.
Because of the three-time symmetry, it is very user-friendly and provides
flexible way of holding various types of containers. "TRI-GRIP" is a newly developed kitchen item, as it were, for the sake of "Silicone Rubber." "TRI-GRIP" especially useful when taking out microwave heated foods, hence
subtitled "Microwave Mate" can be actually used for any hot stuff
in the kitchen. Therefore, it may be called "Kitchen Mate" or
"Cooking Mate." Please try this useful "TRI-GRIP" in your kitchen.Mate."
